The Challenge:

Upgrade the refrigeration plant to provide additional capacity and redundancy for the beef  carcass chillers. This project had to completed in a tight time frame all around live operation with no downtime to processing. This project included 2 additional screw compressor packages, new accumulator, electrical upgrade, new evaporative condenser and NH3 receiver. This is phase one of the overall expansion plans which includes additional  beef chillers.
